At YLOD - how to get the disk out?

Hi!

My PS3 (fat model) just gone YLOD. I do not plan to repair it, although I do wish to get the disk out.

I suppose if I disassemble the machine eventually I'll get to the disk, but just wondering if there is an easier method than that.......

Options

Turn off the main power switch in back of PS3.

Press and hold down the "Eject" button while turning main power switch back on. This should force the DVD to eject before the YLOD error pops up.

If this does not work the first time, you may have to hold the "Eject" button longer while powering the PS3 up.
