I have no RGB signal on the G5

computer powers up, but no monitor signal, blue screen. I have a new hard drive, that shouldn't be a problem, it was running fine new hard drive and all, until now!

Try reseating the video card and make sure your monitor connections are tight. How long after you installed the new hard drive did the problem begin? Ralph

I just cloned the new hard drive a day ago, I did try starting the computer with old hard drive ., the same result and tried with another monitor= just black! unfortunately I don't have extra memory to test that theory :-((

oops forgot to ask (reseating video card?) how do I go about that?
