Will AirPort of a A1278Pro work on the A1278 aluminium model?

Hi, my airport card stopped working. However when i came to buy 1 i couldn't find anywhere.

Would the Macbook Pro A1278 Airport chip work on a A1278 Aluminium model ? Thanks

Ask the vendor - be certain if they claim it will work that they'll refund/exchange if it doesn't. You've given a very generic ID from that they appear several years apart, but everymac lists them as having the same AirPort Extreme (802.11a/b/g/n) and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR card.
