Any solutiong to a scratch on MacBook Pro retina display?

Hello everyone,

I discover an about 8 mm scratch on the left-mid part of my rmbp. It's very frustrating because I bought a clean kit specifically for the machine and handle it very carefully. It was completely fine yesterday and now it's there when I open it. It's not that big a deal, but I just wonder if it's repairable, or by any way to make it less noticeable - it reminds me my carelessness.

The machine is still in the warranty, does it cover things like this?

Thank you!

Warranty doesn't cover things like scratches or physical issues. You may be able to purchase a carbon fibre display protector that would minimize the appearance of the scratch. I personally have never found a suitable resin to fill scratches. The retina also does not have a glass cover over the display so I'd be reluctant to try something like that. I hope this is helpful.

Thanks for replying. I later found the scratch to be only seen on a gray to white color background, which can be ignored most of the time. I guess I'll just have to take good care of it so the next one won't show up any time soon.
