Change faulty USB port

Hi, I have the same problem. I wonder if I can change the USB port? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Aneta, yes you can:-) Disassemble it by using this guide. Once you have the motherboard separated, unsolder the USB port. You can get replacements from here as well as many other places. This will of course depend on your geographical location. Then you solder the new part to your board, and reassemble. If you are unsure about the soldering, you may try a TV or electronics repair shop. Also some vocational schools are very helpful with that. Hope this helps, good luck.
