Where are the power pads

I have one of these a1342s with a green magsafe light that won't power on and I would like to test the power-on by using the jumpers. Mine looks like this, not the one above:

Any ideas?

what are the last three digits of your serial number? It will also help if you post an image of your logic board.

Yes you're right oldturkey. There should be 3.42 volts on the upper pad. That's what it takes to power on the board.

I found this article regarding turning on this Macbook without power button and keyboard.

(Macbook A1342 Powerpad – How to turn it on without power button).

Seems like there are two solutions to this problem.

Cheers
