sound only comes out from one side
I have iPod touch 1G. all of suddem, the sound only comes out from left side. which part I should buy?

Well, first the obvious question: have you tried another pair of headphones? If the problem persists, you'll be looking at a dead headphone jack. Unfortunately, the jack is soldered to the board, so you'll be stuck unless you can resolder the new jack.
