having problems with both usb ports which do not show any device at other end and will not charge? took cords and have tryed on a wall charger and all is good? Using I Phone 5 &4s and I pod touch.

Use the Applications/Utilities/: System Profile (or System Information) to verify that your USB ports are working properly. If they do not/are not showing/reading ok the only "repair" is to replace the entire logic board.
