Can I install original fax software?
need new hard drive - computer in a fire, but case, etc. fine....

OK Leslie here is a URL for a number of fax programs for your computer. If you don't like any of these just google "fax programs for Macs" and you will see a bunch more options. Good luck Ralph

These are primarily for PPC Macs--be sure to check and make sure what you get will work with your computer. Ralph

You can or cant depending on what OS you had and if anything got lepoard or was the OS left alone

It is an iBook G4, which I loved and would like to put back together..I'm now on a MacBook Tiger 2.16 Core 2 Duo
