Touch function is not responding
iPod touch got wet. Screen shows battery, the slide to cancel/shut off, the little battery and WiFi indicator up top.
Nothing is responsive. Any ideas?
Is this a good question?

Then, you'll need to replaced the digitizer, unfortunately iFixit does not carry this part
Maybe not the digitizer alone, but you get it with the front panel assembly:

Good point actually, many people find paying for the whole assembly is too much of a waste of money, but also others find it's worth it since it's a much easier repair.
Looks like fortunately the logic board was not damaged but the digitizer was.
First, just to make sure, you should leave it to dry for a day in uncooked rice, that will make sure all the water is gone.
Then, you'll need to replaced the digitizer, unfortunately iFixit does not carry this part, but you can get them a ton of places online, such as here. While iFixit does not have a guide for replacing the digitizer, if you follow the one for the display you should be fine.
This should fix it if it's not responding to touch, anything else and it's probably a bad logic board, which isn't exactly fixable.
