I need to know how to transfer the mesh from one iPhone screen to another, This applies to all Iphone's.

Once taken off the old screen the adhesive is to little or not sticky to reapply, And to small too use my usual two sided tape.

Chosen Solution

The Original Adhesive applied by Apple is the classic two sided adhesive they use throughout the iPhone. Just glue it on if you want, even Rubber Cement will work or use some thin cuts of two sided adhesive. If is not important how you fix it there, just do it.

Is there any negative effects long term by not having the dust cover on there? Like damaged speaker's?

Well the opening in the glass is large, you don't want debris entering your iPhone here. Also the port to the true earspeaker is large, you don't want things like sand-like particles entering it. But actually no cover would not be too bad. But it is so easy to transfer the true speaker mesh, or to just cut some thin fabric or cloth to cover the hole would be very easy.
