Can I replace the hard drive with an SSD?

Im thinking of getting the mid-2012 macbook pro 15" and I'd like to upgrade it to the 512GB SSD but its a bit out of my price range. So, I was thinking that I would get it with the standard configurations and replace the hard drive with an SSD later. Is this possible?

From reviewing the Apple presentation and their web site I don't believe Apple made any major changes to the the non-retina MacBook Pro models other than add in USB-3 support.

So you should be able to follow this iFixIt guide on what it will take to do the job when your ready MacBook Pro '11 HD replacement

Of course you may want to wait until iFixIt gets a chance to do their tear down of the new systems just to be sure.
