Ok just replaced my iphone4s and everything went perfect, except my volume buttons won't work tried resetting it nothing seems broken volume buttons are enabled via settings and all slider volume works sound works how can I fix this?

You need to replace the (volume cable assembly)...it's probably broken.....
That should solve your problem...I had the same issue
Sometimes part of the cable is broken ....That cause the vibrate to work and the volume dont work....You can physically inspect it or just replace it

Ouf that would be terrible idk everything looks fine thow when I look at it and if it's the same cable (volume/mute) ribbon how is mute switch unaffected. Cable looks fine could it be possible I didn't plug in volume/mute connector
