No, you'd have to replace the whole logic board, which just isn't worth it. It's cheaper and easier to just buy a new 3G S.

Just to add- this is one of the ways android phones are so much easier for expandability, you can just swap in a new sd card, whereas the flash module for iPhone is actually integrated into the motherboard.

Exactly, and the logic board can be a pain in the butt to change for the unexperienced.
