2nd HDD. Still possible with Adapter

Hi,

in the past I had an MBP 13" with Slot-In drive. I was able to replace this drive with a 2nd HDD and adapter.

Does this also work for MBP 15" (2012)? As far as I can see there is no DVD drive any longer. Is there space left and a SATA connector in order to build in a 2nd HDD?

Options

No - AFAIK there are no expansion ports or bays. You'll have to resort to a external storage via USB or possibly a Thunderbolt adapter(Ethernet) or wireless time capsule/cloud for extra storage.
