Identify resistor R6805 MacBook Pro mid 2012

Hello. The audio jack on my 2012 macbook pro mid got stuck and I read on the internet that I need to remove the R6805 resistor from the motherboard to get my computer's sound working again. The problem is that after hours of searching, I can't identify that resistance on the motherboard (820-2565-A). Could you help me by telling me what it is? Thanks you very much.

Depending on what is messing up the jack you might be able to fix it!

There is a tool which will allow you yo pull out the broken core and tip and if the little switches inside are messed pop you can use a toothpick or dental probe to reset them.

The last way which given how crappy the speakers are in this series is just use a good Bluetooth speaker.

@juancarlos30510 your logic board is not a 820-2565 (that is the number for the MagSafe board) but a 820-3115 :-). For that board reference designator R6805 is a 20K 1% 1/16 W resistor in a 0402 package. It is on the opposite side of what you have posted. We are looking at the Bottom of the board and the component is located on the Top side. Best of luck with this and let us know how it worked out for you.
