I need an iSight camera and cable for my MacBook Pro 17-inch (the old, pre-unibody model).

What model do you have exactly? iFixit may have both the part and the guide.

Go to eBay and do a search for "iSight" you will find at least a hundred of them.

I got a great deal on Craigslist. Be patient, set up a search and wait. It took about 2 weeks for one to turn up at the right price.
