here is a flex cable that connects the SSD/HD to the MB. Does anyone know either who makes the connector on the SSD/HD side or the one on the MB side?

According to EXACTLY which MacBook Air you have the part is probably 922-8768. To be sure. please give us the last three letters of your serial number.
