Screen replacement on a TAM

Is there a guide available to replace the screen on a TAM?

Surprisingly the one guide we have will get you there!

Here is the guide: Twentieth Anniversary Mac Teardown. Follow it thought to Step9 to get the front off which has the LCD screen mounted.

Just be careful you get the correct replacement display, you can't substitute.

We just don't have a proper guide, yes I'm sure a few of the steps could be bypassed. As you go thru the task how about creating a guide ;-}

Hang on to this machine, it's one of the few older ones that retain real collector value. I think there were only 10 or 12,000 of them made. I only know of one in my town.

Thanks, guys. Yes, I intend to keep it. It is iconic ... in its own rather eccentric way. (I'll try to complete a guide; however, I think I would end up plagiarizing most of Dan’s guide. If I’m successful, I will be sure to note proper attribution.)
