Thermal sensor compatibility WD 1TB - Seagate SSHD 1TB

Hi,

I was changing the hd drive of my imac 27" mid 2010 because de original one failed. I bought a Seagate SSHD 1Tb to put instead. I was not able to see which was the original HD until I opened 5 minutes ago. I chose the Seagate because I read about its compatibility with my imac mid 2010. Well, the problem is that the thermal sensor connector (8 pins) does not fit in the Seagate (4 pins). I also read about the OWC kit, is that the only solution for this?

Can anyone help me with this?

thanks!!
