Putting a 3rd hd in the zip caddy of a g4 quicksilver

I followed the g4 quicksilver teardown sequence( (step 11-12) and I want to add a 3rd hard drive. The drive fits in the zip tray alright but the screw holes on the drive don't line up. Do I need to alter this caddy to make it fit or can it just lay in there?

Thank you.

What is the master-slave relationship of the drives (2 per bus)?

You should be able to just lay it there, it really isn't going anywhere. You could drill new holes if you wanted too, but it shouldn't be nessicary.

Thanx very much for your answers, I took my Dremel and 'oval'ed the hole out to fit the screw in. But after reassembly, then my old Pioneer 104 optical DVD drive went dead. Ah well, back to the workbench.

thanks and regards,
