Your iPhone screen was shattered and you send it to the store for a screen for a replacement, on to find that all your photos are gone after the screen replacement. Sound weird, but this is just what happened to the iPhone 5 user. According to the iPhone 5 user, though all the photos and videos are gone, the storage setting shows that 13.7 GB of the storage is taken up by photos and camera, which means that the photos are not deleted from your iPhone virtually though you cannot see them.
If you have never backed up your iPhone through iTunes to your computer, you can perform backing up right away. And then restore the lost photos from the iTunes backup.
Back Up Through iTunes

>Click the device after it is recoginized by iTunes. And then Click Back Up Now.
>After the process ends, you can see if your backup finished successfully in iTunes Preferences > Devices.

> Look at the date and size of each backup and pick the most relevant.
> Click restore and wait for the process to finish. Your device will restart and then sync with your computer. Stay connected until the sync finishes.

This happened to me today after trying to replace my screen. However, the replacement screen was defective and we ended up having to put the old, broken screen back on. Do you think this has anything to do with it?
