Replace a broken or damaged motherboard and paired optical drive for your Xbox 360 S game console with this part. This part includes the bare motherboard with attached ports and the paired optical drive. Heat sinks are not included. It is essential to apply a fresh layer of thermal paste before reinstalling the heat sinks.

The optical drive and motherboard must be replaced together. An optical drive that is not paired with the motherboard will not recognize game disks.

There are two versions of this motherboard, Revision A and B, that are not cross compatible. Look at the white sticker on your motherboard to determine which revision you have. Rev. A has 5 pins on the hard drive connector. Rev. B has 4 pins on the hard drive connector.
