If your tablet will not charge and you have ensured that it is in fact defective and the problem isn't the charger, the battery will need to be replaced. If your tablet is still under warranty from the manufacturer then you can contact them for a replacement.

Charger is Defective ¶

Ensure the problem is the charger itself by testing the same cord with another device and also test the charger in a different outlet. If the charger is still not working then it is broken and should be replaced. Any Micro USB charger will work with this device.

Tablet Needs to be Factory Reset ¶

If a simple restart was not enough to fix the screen then it may require a reset.

Note: Be careful to back up any important files or pictures before performing a factory reset as you will lose the data on your device.

  1. First turn off the tablet.
  2. Press and hold the "Volume Down" button and the "Power Button" together.
  3. The tablet should now be in recovery mode and displaying a menu.
  4. Use volume down to select wipe data / factory reset.
  5. Use volume up to confirm.
  6. Wait for the tablet to completely wipe itself before doing anything further.
  7. The reboot system will confirm that the wipe was successful.
  8. Wait until the tablet is fully powered on to see if the problem is fixed.

Screen Needs to be Replaced ¶

If none of the above solutions were successful in fixing the screen on your tablet, the screen is damaged and needs to be replaced.
