V-Moda Crossfade II Wireless Does Not Charge
When you plug in the charger into the V-Moda Crossfade II Wireless, it does not charge. These steps will show you how to get your device charging again.
Faulty Charging Cable
A bad charging cable can cause your device not to charge. The charging cable can have rips and tears from constantly twists and bends. Another sign that you have a bad charging cable is that the cable can be very loose and not fully connect to the adaptor.
- Try to use a different charger.
- Use a different wall outlet or adaptor.
- Make sure no wires are sticking out.
Dirty USB Port
The USB port tends to clog up with dirt and grime after a while, so make sure to look at the USB port and see if its dirty. Some causes of build up is constant use of device, lint from casing, and even sweat.
- Clean the USB port with a clean isopropyl alcohol rag.
- Use compressed air to blow out the dirt.
Make sure not to poke to hard or it can cause damage to the USB port.
Degraded Battery
Constantly leaving the device plugged in at 100%, leaving it uncharged for a while, or just having the device for a long period of time can cause a battery to degrade.
- Try a hard reset by holding the power switch in the pairing position for 10+ seconds.
- If the hard reset does not work, the battery would need to be replace with a new 3.7V Lithium-ion polymer battery.[see our replace ment guide]
