Phone does not power on ¶ 

Your Samsung Glyde does not turn on.

Battery is uncharged ¶ 

Take the battery charger and plug it in to the outlet and your phone to recharge your battery. If this does not work, your charger may not be working.

Try charging your phone with other charger. If your battery starts charging properly, then you have a bad charger. Purchase a new charger.

My phone is dead. Not sure if it is the battery. Should I be able to power on the phone while plugged into the charger if the battery is dead? When I try this it flashes the Verizon logo, starts to power on, then goes dead. I don't want to buy a new battery if it's a bigger problem.
