Here you'll find a summary of the various criteria iFixit considers when calculating repairability scores under scorecard version 2.2. As of Q4 2025, this is the most current version of the rubric.

Factors Not Considered

Software Updates	Duration of software security updates is slated for inclusion in a future version of the scorecard.

Revisions from v2.1

Proxy Times	Overhauled actions + proxy times for clarity and consistency; retired and replaced some actions used in older scorecards.
Tools	Adjusted tool multiplier value (bonus/malus) for T2 Torx / Torx Plus as these have become more widely available.
