Nobis NB07 Troubleshooting

Nobis Tablet will not power on ¶ 

The tablet will not respond while powered off after using the power button.

Drained battery ¶ 

The battery may be drained. Connect the tablet to the charger and wait 30 seconds to a minute for it to charge enough to be powered back on.

Sticky or faulty power button ¶ 

Check to see if there is any movement from the power button. If not, disassemble the tablet using the first two steps from THIS GUIDE and check to see if there is anything between the button and the connection to the tablet - remove it if so. If that does not work, the button may need to be replaced.

Faulty or displaced battery ¶ 

Disassemble the tablet using THIS GUIDE and check the battery to see if it is inserted properly. If it is, the battery may be faulty and need to be replaced. Continue by using the guide to replace it.

Water damage ¶ 

The tablet may have been exposed to water. If so, quickly turn off the tablet. Then, dry the exterior of the tablet with tissue paper or a towel. Next, follow the first two from THIS GUIDE to disassemble the tablet. Once the tablet is disassembled, dry the interior of the tablet using a hair dryer. Keep the hair dryer on the low setting and do not focus too much on the screen as too much heat can damage the touchscreen function. Apply heat evenly throughout the entire tablet for about 30 minutes. The tablet may also be dried using rice. To do this, immerse the tablet into a bowl filled with uncooked rice and let it dry overnight. After the tablet is completely dry reassemble it and power it back on.

Nobis Tablet will not charge ¶ 

The tablet will not show any sign of charging.

Faulty outlet ¶ 

The outlet that the charger is plugged into may not be working. Try plugging the charger into another outlet.

Faulty charger ¶ 

Check to see if the charger is damaged. Damage can be observed as frayed wiring or loose parts. The charger may also not work due to excessive wear. If either is the case, it will need to be replaced.

Faulty or displaced battery ¶ 

Disassemble the tablet using THIS GUIDE and check the battery to see if it is inserted properly. If it is, the battery may be faulty and need to be replaced. Continue by using the previous guide to replace it.

Nobis Tablet is frozen ¶ 

The tablet will not respond while powered on.

Software glitch ¶ 

Hold power button to power off tablet, then power it back on. If it does not reboot with the power button, connect the tablet to the charger or a computer and try again. If this does not work, reset the tablet by pressing the reset button on the backside of the tablet. If none of the above instructions work, remove and reinsert the battery using THIS GUIDE.

Water Damage ¶ 

The tablet may have been exposed to water. If so, quickly turn off the tablet. Then, dry the exterior of the tablet with tissue paper or a towel. No audio from Nobis Tablet ¶ 

The tablet will not play any sound.

Volume set to zero ¶ 

The tablet volume may be set to zero, check and adjust it as necessary.

Audio file volume set to zero ¶ 

Check to see if the audio file has an adjustable volume. If it does, it may be set to zero. Check and adjust it as necessary.

Headphones not connected properly ¶ 

If using headphones, check to see if they are connected properly. The headphone jack may not be inserted completely into the socket. Try reinserting it and pushing the jack until it stops.

Faulty speaker ¶ 

The speaker may be damaged and need to be replaced. If so, follow THIS GUIDE to replace the speaker.

Microphone in Nobis Tablet does not respond ¶ 

The tablet microphone will not respond to any sound.

Microphone option turned off ¶ 

Some applications have an option to turn the microphone on or off. If you're using one of these applications, make sure the option is turned on.

Debris or dust covering microphone ¶ 

Check for debris or dust that may be blocking the opening to the microphone. If so, try blowing it out or cleaning it with a cotton swab.

Faulty microphone ¶ 

The microphone may be damaged and need to be replaced. If so, follow THIS GUIDE to replace the microphone.

I don't think you need to have the water exposure information in a separate section.

How do I get the keyboard to work that's not on the screen ? Noone seems to know how to get it to work
