LG Motion 4G MS770 Troubleshooting

Released: November 2012, identified by the model number LGMS770.

Phone won't turn on ¶ 

Phone is unresponsive and won't turn on.

Assure that the battery is properly inserted ¶ 

Make sure that the battery is properly placed inside of the phone.

Phone battery is dead ¶ 

Try charging your phone but be sure that the charger is connected to the phone and wall outlet correctly.

Bad charging cord ¶ 

Inspect your charger for any kinks or cracks in the cord's coating that would prevent it from charging.

Bad battery ¶ 

In this case replace your bad battery with a new one.

Battery dying quickly ¶ 

Phone has unusually short battery life.

Too many applications left open ¶ 

Make sure all applications that aren't in use are closed to save battery life.

Power saver mode turned off ¶ 

Go into settings and turn on power saver mode. This should help save battery power.

Bad battery ¶ 

Replace the phone's battery.

Microphone not picking up audio ¶ 

When making calls, the person you are talking to cannot hear you.

Phone is muted ¶ 

Make sure the phone is not muted when making calls.

Bad speaker ¶ 

Replace the phone's speaker.

Touch screen not working ¶ 

Digitizer is not registering touch on the phone's touchscreen.

Restart phone ¶ 

Try restarting your phone by holding down the power button until it shuts off and then turning it back on.

Bad motherboard ¶ 

Replace the phone's motherboard.

Shattered screen ¶ 

The screen on the phone appears to be shattered or cracked.

Broken screen ¶ 

In this case, you will need to replace the phone's screen.
