Keychron K3 V2 Bluetooth Not Connecting
When you try connecting the Keychron K3 V2 to another device through bluetooth, and it won't connect, follow these steps to make sure your Keychron K3 V2 can connect through bluetooth again.
Faulty Bluetooth Connection
The bluetooth connection may be faulty. To fix this, remove your Keychron K3 V2 from your computer's bluetooth list. Go to your computer's settings, press Bluetooth & devices, press Devices, go to your Keychron K3 V2 on the device list and press the downward arrow, press remove. To re-pair the bluetooth connection, find the slider near the esc button, make sure it is toggled to bluetooth, hold down Fn + 1 for 4 seconds, go to settings -->Bluetooth & devices--> Devices--> add a device, then find "Keychron K3" on the add a device section, and connect your computer and Keychron K3 V2.
Outdated Software
The keyboard's software may be outdated, causing issues with bluetooth connectivity. Look up "Keychron K3 V2 software" on google, then click on the link that says "Firmware for K3 US Keyboard" The website itself has the instructions on how to update the firmware.
Device Is Unresponsive
The keyboard may need to be factory reset. Factory reset the Keychron K3 V2 by turning it on and holding down Fn + Z + J for 4 seconds until the backlight flashes.
Faulty Motherboard
If doing all of the above did not resolve your problem, the motherboard itself may be faulty and malfunctioning. To replace the motherboard, take off the keycaps, unscrew and take off the framing, then take out the backplate containing the motherboard and replace it with a new one.
