HP Chromebook will not charge
LED light above the charging port does not work
If the LED light is green that does not necessarily mean the Chromebook is 100% charged, it means that the charger is initializing. (You have to wait 15 seconds after plugging in the AC adapter). If above steps do not work then try to charge your Chromebook by plugging the end of AC adapter to your charging port and the other end to a wall outlet. (Make sure that your outlet is working properly by using any other household device in there). Charge your laptop for 10 minutes and then repeatedly press the power button. If your chrome does not turn on you need to charge your laptop for 24 hours to determine if the battery needs to be replaced or not. If your laptop is still not working, then you may need to replace your battery. Follow this link to find a complete guide to replace your HP Chromebook CB2L battery:

No sound being heard from audio port or headphones
Faulty/Broken Headphone port
If you are hearing no sound or distorted sound when playing audio through your Chromebook headphone port it may be that the headphones are bad and not the Chromebook. If no audio can be heard make sure that you have turned the volume up on both, the media you are trying to listen to, as well as the volume on your Chromebook. If the issue persists, try using your headphones in a different device. If there is no distortion in the audio reception, then the issue lies with your Chromebook. Your headphone port may need replacing. Follow this link to find a complete guide on how to replace your headphone port:
