This troubleshooting page will help you diagnose problems with the Fujitsu Lifebook Stylistic Q584
- Fujitsu Will Not Connect to Wi-Fi

Fujitsu Will Not Connect to Wi-Fi ¶
The Wi-Fi symbol is not showing and internet applications will not load.
The Wireless Component is Switched Off ¶
The radio components are not switched on in the device settings. To turn this setting on go to Settings - Change PC settings – Wireless devices – On.
Wireless Connection to a Network Does Not Work ¶
Check whether the wireless connection is enabled by the software. If the wireless is still not connecting try turning off your Fujitsu, and your modem/router. Wait 30 seconds and turn both devices back on, If the wireless is still not connected it may be a problem with your internet provider.
The Tablet PC Does Not Start After Switching On ¶
The tablet will not start when attempting to power on.
Battery Not Charged ¶
Plug in the charger and allow the battery to charge before powering on.
The AC Adapter is Not Properly Connected ¶
Check whether the AC adapter is properly connected to the Fujitsu, and switch the device on.
Battery is Faulty ¶
If a good charger is unable to supply power to the device, it is possible that the battery is bad and will need to be replaced.
Stylus Input is Not Working ¶
The screen does not respond to touch with the stylus.
Stylus Needs Calibration ¶
To calibrate, run the Hardware and Sound / Tablet PC Settings function in the Control Panel. You need to calibrate both portrait and landscape formats.
Stylus Tip is Faulty ¶
Replace stylus tip using this guide.
Screen is Damaged ¶
With use, the stylus tip may become worn or may pick up foreign particles that can scratch the screen. A damaged or worn tip may not move freely, causing unpredictable results when using the stylus.
Try replacing it with this guide.
The Battery Discharges too Quickly ¶
The battery of the device does not hold a charge.
The Battery is Either Too Hot or Too Cold. Battery Indicator is Flashing. ¶
Bring the Fujitsu up/down to a normal operating temperature. If the battery life is extremely short, the battery might need to be replaced.
There is an Application Running that Consumes a Large Amount of Power ¶
Use the AC adapter when it is possible.
Screen Brightness is Set to Maximum ¶
Reduce the brightness of the screen. You will find the setting under Control Panel - Hardware and Sounds - Windows Mobility Center.
System Error Messages ¶
Error messages generated by the BIOS when a problem has occurred.
Keyboard Controller Error ¶
Switch your Fujitsu off with the ON/OFF button. Wait 3-5 seconds and switch the Fujitsu on again.
Keyboard Error ¶
If you are using an external keyboard: Check the connection and reboot the Fujitsu.
Operating System Not Found ¶
Check in the BIOS Setup whether your hard disk has been set correctly, and make sure that the operating system is installed in the corresponding drive.
