Introduction

If you need to replace your Battery for the Fujitsu Lifebook Stylistic Q584 this guide will provide step-by-step instructions. In addition, it's important to remove the battery prior to replacing parts.

  1. Remove the white sticker covering the screws (if applicable).

    • Use the PH1 screwdriver to remove the four 2 mm screws from the the backside of the device.

  2. Insert the plastic opening tool along the seam of the back case.

  3. Carefully lift the back case and remove the smartcard ribbon from the motherboard.

  6. Remove the grey docking station port cover.
    • Remove the grey docking station port cover.

  7. Gently slide the plastic opening tool along the entire seam popping the clips free.

  8. Lift the shield away from the device and remove the fingerprint scanner's ribbon from the motherboard.

  9. Pull up the cord that connects the battery to the motherboard

  10. Remove seven 1mm screws using a PH00 screwdriver.

  11. Disconnect upper peripheral ribbons from motherboard.
    • Disconnect upper peripheral ribbons from motherboard.

    • Disconnect left peripheral ribbon from motherboard.

  12. Gently lift the battery from the casing.
    • Gently lift the battery from the casing.

I have flickering video problems after a drop, its probably video cable loose. Where is the video cable, To try reseating.
