Asus Transformer Pad Infinity Troubleshooting

Released July 2012, can be identified by model number TF700T.

Display Not Working

The screen appears black even when the device is on.

Device Battery Drained

Plug the device into the charger. If the device does not immediately turn on, wait at least 30 minutes for the device to charge. Press the power button to check if the device displays anything.

Driver Out of Date

If the device is not compatible with newly updated software, then a driver update may be needed.

Device Needs Rebooting

Press and hold the power button on the side of the device. Wait 30 seconds, then press the power button again.

Damaged Screen

If the device continuously has a black screen, then the screen might be damaged. To replace the screen, follow this repair guide.

Device Not Charging

The battery of the device will not charge when plugged into a charger.

Faulty Charger

Make sure the charger is plugged into the wall outlet as well as the tablet. If the device continues to not charge, then the charger may be damaged. If the charger is damaged, you may need to buy a new one.

Damaged Charging Port

The charging port might be damaged, causing the device to not charge. To replace the charging port, follow this repair guide.

Camera Not Working

The camera will not open or will not allow you to take photos.

Blocked Lens

Check to make sure nothing is blocking the lens. Make sure when you take photos that your finger or other objects are not blocking the lens.

Device Needs Rebooting

Press and hold the power button on the side of the device. Wait 30 seconds, then press the power button again.

Device Needs Updating

To update the device manually, follow the instructions on this link.

Damaged Camera

If your camera continues to not work, then you may need to replace it. To replace the camera, follow this repair guide.

Device Not Turning On

The device will not turn on after pressing the power button.

Device Battery Drained
