Asus Transformer Pad Infinity Battery Replacement

Introduction

Replacing the battery involves opening up the device. Prerequisites; follow the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity Teardown link up to step 6 to remove the screen.

What you need

  1. Asus Transformer Pad Infinity Battery Replacement, Battery: step 1, image 1 of 3 Asus Transformer Pad Infinity Battery Replacement, Battery: step 1, image 2 of 3 Asus Transformer Pad Infinity Battery Replacement, Battery: step 1, image 3 of 3

    • Disconnect the long silver ribbon connector from the screen.

    • Remove the orange ribbon connector with the two connections.

    • Disconnect the battery from the big motherboard.

  4. Asus Transformer Pad Infinity Battery Replacement: step 3, image 1 of 1

    • Unscrew all eight screws connecting the battery to the case.

    • Remove the battery.

    • Place the new battery in the same spot as the old battery.

    • Screw the eight screws back in place to connect the new battery to the case.
