This teardown is not a repair guide. To repair your HEC Remote Control, use our service manual.

  1. Using a flat head screwdriver pry open the remote

  2. Detach the circuit board from the bottom half of the remote casing.
    • Detach the circuit board from the bottom half of the remote casing.

    • Be careful when removing the circuit board from the casing.

    • Springs are attached to the remote casing

  3. GIVE TOOLS. FIX FOREVER.

    Spread the Fixmas cheer.

    • Remove plastic molding attached to the top half of the remote casing

    • Remove the lid encasing the batteries
