My Problem
Power supply burned out during electrical storm. Insurance declined to fix or replace as machine no longer supported by Apple. Insurance company paid me $250 which more than covered the cost of a replacement power supply from iFixit.
My Fix
No problems, easy-peasy, with instructions from iFixit lady on youtube. Thankyou!
Although she missed out a small few details on screw sizes.
My Advice
Have a great computer back in working order, and a new 1TB drive put in a year ago, almost like new and made a few $ on the deal. Also still running Snow Leopard, the best system ever produced by Apple, compared to the ugly industrial grey-scale of Jobs.
