Bad Battery (pronounced "bat-ree")

My Problem

My 5 year old MBP battery went from "good" to "needs service" to "replace soon". I can only imagine what the next warning would have been... When doing my research, I saw that apple claimed the battery had to be replaced by a trained tech. At first, I thought it must be legit. But that was before I saw your youtube video and gained the unyielding confidence to do it on my own.

My Fix

Possibly the easiest computer repair ever completed by mankind that didn't involve duct tape.

My Advice

Don't be afraid and question everything Apple says about DIY repairs.. Thanks ifixit!
