My Problem
The home button on my wife's iPhone stopped working and I didn't have the tools to do it myself. I bought the Pro Tech Toolkit along with the replacement part from I fixit. Everything arrived quickly and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the tools. These are very good quality tools.
My Fix
The repair went smoothly and took me an hour and a half to complete. As my eyes aren't as young as they once were and the screws are so small I'm surprised I never had any left over parts. The phone works like brand new.
My Advice
Use lots of light and I used a foot square piece of cardboard with some painters tape down the middle of the sheet with the sticky side up. I placed the screws and parts in a line along the tape as I removed them and wrote on the cardboard which step they came from. Worked like a charm.
