Broken Ipad glass

My Problem

We just love fixing stuff. This was our first attempt at fixing a broken IPad and were really excited to know that we could do this ourselves.

My Fix

The process is very intense. So many things to remove and cleaning off the broken glass was a challenge but we got it done and the curiosity of what a IPad looks like inside has been satisfied. :)

My Advice

If you drop you Ipad and break the glass, don't just order a replacement front panel assembly but also purchase a front panel bezel because you will probably destroy the one that's on the Ipad when removing the glass. Oh, and when you remove the very, very small screws, you might tape them to something while you work on fixing the Ipad. They are very hard to find if they fall on the floor. LOL
