My Problem
I bought the kit so that I would have the tools available to disassemble my MBP 13" (2012) and expand the memory and replace the HDD with a SSD. Won't do that until this Spring after the wedding. Probably get my components from another Mac-centric supplier OWC.
My Fix
Will let you know when I do it, but the tools remove the screws in the base. Just tried a few as a test.
My Advice
Find a nice, quiet, child-free space. Oh, and don't tell the wife what you are doing because she will most likely freak out.
