Not charging nor connecting to iTunes

My Problem

When you pay high prices for stuff, you'd expect them to work. And if stuff goes bad, pay a small amount to fix stuff.

I was offered to have my iPhone 4 fixed for the humble price of 333€. I said no way!

Ordered my kit for less than a third of that, and voila! It's alive!!

My Fix

With a fair amount of doubt in my mind I started with the pentalobes. 1.5h later finished the operation assuming I must've forgotten something..

But(t) plugged it to the charger and away it went!

Connected to iTunes and had to reboot, reinstall and reboot and reinstall.

And now my iPhone 4 works like a charm..for now..

My Advice

Go slow and thoroughly examine each step twice before you execute the task given in the guide.

No need to take out the sim nor the logic board!

I'm an expert on loosing stuff, especially small stuff. So I had 5-6 small plastic boxes in front of me where I put all the screews in cronological order! It was a major help when reassembling!!
