My Problem
My PS4 Pro sounded like a jet engine and for prolonged periods of play time it would shut down because of the heat
My Fix
It was smooth and easy with IFixit's Mako Driver Kit. The Artic Silver 5 Thermal Paste they have in stock is wonderful, now my Pro runs quietly and heat transfers more efficiently. It doesn't make the system cooler, but it transfers the heat from the chip faster and more effectively.
My Advice
Take your time, don't rush. I suggest to take pictures before every section you disassemble so you can see where each screw, wire and connection was before you take it apart. Although, I did not use a guide, I suggest you watch a video, do some research or go through a guide before attempting to disassemble anything.
