GoPro Hero 4 Image Sensor replacement

My Problem

Hero 4 was freezing despite all the suggested fixes on line, I decided to replace the image sensor

My Fix

I had no problem following the Fixit Instructions and replacing the image sensor. My Hero 4 now works again

My Advice

The most difficult part was removing the front panel - particularly the small tab just above the lens. This is a very thin piece of plastic and could easily break. The blue plastic fixit tool helped enormously.
