Shattered my screen trying to replace the battery

My Problem

I had to get a new screen because the one I was trying to remove to get to the battery... shattered. I pried up by the home button instead of by the headphone jack.

My Fix

It went well. I took my time. That’s the important part. Take your time. I will have to say my only issue with this replacement would be the auto brightness. For whatever reason it doesn’t work now. I used the original home button, and that works great with the new screen.

My Advice

When getting the new product, make sure to bend the cables like the old one so the installation goes smoother. I had this issue with the screen and an after market battery. Oh and the gasket, YouTube it. I fix it has a video of the concept just not on their site for whatever reason. Since my screen was scattered. I used clear packing tape so get that seal.
