My Problem
My wifi wasn't working on my mid 2012 MacBook Pro. I first decided to replace the actual Airport card but my wifi still wasn't working. So I called Ifixit and they said to try replacing just the cord instead. I did that, and I have not had any problems since. I also got my money back for the airport card that I had purchased but didn't need since my old airport wasn't the problem.
My Fix
It went well. Have to be a little careful with the small screws but anyone could do it by following the repair guide steps on ifixit!

Use ifixit! They are a great company that will help you!
