Upgraded memory ram and hard drive

My Problem

My hard drive went out on my late 2011 mbp but I didn’t want to spend money on a new laptop so I bought an ssd drive and I also decided to upgrade the ram. I bought a refurbished memory ram on ifixit.com because I didn’t want to spend much money plus they offer life time warranty on it and let me tell you those memory ram sticks are well worth it I can’t even tell they’re refurbished they work flawless on my mbp 16gb memory ram couldn’t ask for more and the ssd drive its just amazing perfect combination I’m happy with my investment I have a new laptop again.

My Fix

Repair was easy I followed ifixit instructions didn’t have any problems done in less than 10 min

My Advice

Don’t give up on your old mbp if you planning to buy a new laptop because you old mbp is slow I would definitely recommend trying an ssd drive and upgrade the ram makes a big difference
