Successful repair of faulty rear facing microphone in iPhone 6

My Problem

Faulty rear facing microphone.

My Fix

The repair was time consuming but the detailed instructions we excellent and it went off without a hitch. The only part that was a little painful was getting the adhesive out from under the battery. I ended up using a hair dryer to soften the adhesive.

My Advice

Because there are so many screws and small brackets with different lengths I used 3oz Dixie cups which I marked with the size to place the screws and brackets. This made reassembly painless.
