15 min trackpad replacement, not very exciting

My Problem

Cursor non responsive. USB mouse functional, suspected trackpad failure.

My Fix

Uneventful. I've done literally hundreds of trackpad replacements.

My Advice

Use edge of post it notes wedged in between where the trackpad seats and the top case to create an equal distance all around the edge of the trackpad. Remove post it notes after tightening the screws underneath the trackpad, then adjust tensioner after.
