MBPro speaker & subwoofer replacement

My Problem

Distorted audio from internal speakers, but clear when plugged in to headphones or external speakers

My Fix

Smoooooth! The replacement speaker from iFixit arrived very quickly and the repair guide provided precise instructions on how to remove the defective piece. The entire repair & replace took less than 45 minutes and the results were perfect: clear audio, no pieces left over!

My Advice

Thoroughly read thru the guide before starting the repair. Use an empty egg carton or muffin tin to hold removed screws or other pieces in the order they come out (and go back in). Take your time and call iFixit if you have any questions.
